"Long before my session with the Dentist last week Thursday, Courtesy of the OHAI-2020 #Giveaway by Dr Blessing Odupitan, I was always scared of dental procedures hence my assumption of Dentists as Medical Carpenters who work with tools like hammers, nails and pliers to inflict pain on our tooth. After an assessment of my oral space and cross-examination of my dental history, the dentist allayed thee fears I had for the procedure and reassured me I could only have mild pains which would pass away in no distant time. In less than on hour, the scaling and polishing went on smoothly as the Dentist earlier said. He showed empathy all through and requested I voice out if what he's doing hurt so that he could adjust... After the procedure was over, we had a pep talk on how I could further improve my oral health and hygiene... So, I've decided to put this out to encourage us all towards a better oral health.
