Dr. Blessing Odupitan is the Founder and Current Executive Director of OralHealth Africa Initiative. She obtained her Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the prestigious University of Ibadan, OyoState, Nigeria in October 2017 after which she proceeded to The National Hospital,Abuja for her mandatory clinical Housemanship in May2018.

While undergoing her clinical training, she came across Patients (elites and non-elites) who knew little or next to nothing about their oral health.

This, alongside her passion for community health spurred her to commence a social media campaign about Oralhealth in 2018 which subsequently led to the birth of Oral Health Africa Initiative.

A previous Chairperson of The Action Group on Adolescent Health (AGAH), Ibadan and Volunteer Dentist at Jasons Health Organization Incorporated, Dr. Blessing has akeen interest in Dental public health and experience in Adolescent health education.
Her passion for community oral health awareness made her volunteer her free time in National and International dental outreaches in hard-to-reach communities in Africa.

In May 2018, she was honoured with a Membership certificate from the Young African Leaders Initiative which has subsequently broadened her scope of influence.

Currently, Dr Blessing works as a General Dental Practitioner at a private practice, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
