
A non-fluoridated toothpaste (infants specific) is recommended for children less than 1 yr. Most of these toothpastes are specially formulated and are tagged ‘safe’ even when there’s accidental ingestion. The earlier you introduce your children to brushing with the appropriate toothpaste, the better their oral hygiene.
“White” is relative...We all have different shades (hue) of teeth and its been researched to be inversely proportional to your body complexion. Some exceptions apply though.

The other alternative for infants (less than 1yr) is cotton roll dipped in a warm saline mouth bath. To prepare the saline mouth bath, titrate a leveled TEASPOONFUL of salt in WARM water. With your cotton roll, Gently massage your infants gum pads and teeth.
Dental floss is the special ‘rope’ for this. You can get this at any mall or supermarket close to you.
A Fluoridated Toothpaste is recommended for Toothbrushing. Nursing and lactating Mothers should get infant-specific toothpastes for their wards.
